Preparation Method
1 1/2 C Rice -- Wash and soak 1 Hr.
1 Lg Onion -- sliced thin
3 Tbsp Ghee
4 Bay Leaves
5 Peppercorns
3 Cloves
1 Inch Cinnamon Stick
2 Tsp Salt
3 C Water
Heat ghee. Add onions and spices and satue until
onions are tender but not brown. Drain rice
and stir into onions. Cook until rice is transparent.
Add water and boil until rice is tender. Serve
hot.
Serving Ideas : An excellent side dish for any
meal.
